The Brazilian startup of Bitcoin Bitfy portfolios announced that it had accumulated 10-fold growth in 2020, according to Exame.

The company’s main portfolio is a multi-purpose Bitcoin blockchain. According to the text, Bitfy has already traded R$ 25 million in the application launched in January 2020. The company also says the app has grown 40% per month in the past three months.

In 2020, Bitfy also partnered with Cielo, allowing payments in Bitcoin in more than 1.5 million commercial establishments and digital services, in addition to partnerships with delivery startups such as iFood, Evino and Rappi.

In October, the startup led a round of investments led by Brazilian group Urca Angels, raising R$1.4 million. For the next few months, Bitfy plans to lead another round of Series A investments, with an eye on international expansion:

With 30,000 registered users, Bitfy’s goal is to triple this number in the short term. The company expects to reach 100 thousand users by April 2021.
